NOAR (YOUTH) BAS Jr. Group Kickoff Event

5-7 Graders: Bring 4 cans or boxes of food for Food Patch and come with your friends (non members welcome!) to meet and have fun together at our very first Noar Event this year! Junior Congregation (ages 7-11)

School-age children of all ages and abilities are welcome to join this prayer service led by our own Bet Am Teens. This joyous group shares the experience of community prayer and song and explores the weekly parashah through parashah plays and discussion.

Facebook for Parents: A Special Workshop

NOAR BAS, our Youth Group, is on Facebook! This workshop will explore Facebook and Jewish teen identity in a cyber era, ways in which parents can navigate the site, deal with safety-related issues and capitalize on what Facebook can teach teenagers.

"Growing Together", Joint BAS/Kol Ami Social Action Project at BAS

Students ages 9-14 are invited with their parents to this program which celebrates Jewish Social Action Month! Sign up NOW.

Camp JRF Comes to BAS

Rabbi Isaac Saposnik, Director of Camp JRF, will share information and video about camp, which has programs for grades 3 through 12. Many Bet Am Shalom children and teens attend Camp JRF.  Click on attachment below or visit www.campjrf.org for details.

Midnight Run

Volunteers and donations needed!

Help us provide food, clothing and a little companionship to homeless people living on the streets of Manhattan. We need donations, help with preparation and volunteers to go on the Run! Items still needed as of 11/16:

Kosher turkey 5 lbs., Kosher salami - 4 lbs.,Small Chocolate bars - 65, Bananas - 25, Apples - 25, Mustard -1 large jar, Mayonnaise - 1 large jar
