Bet Am Shalom invites young children and their families to:

Babysitting on Shabbat

Every Shabbat morning a babysitter is available to watch children from ages two to six. This free service is open from 10:30am until 12:30pm or the end of the service. Our sitter is selected and supervised by our congregants with young children. This is a safe and warm space for young children to be while their parents are engaged in prayer.

Parents and their preschoolers (2 - 6 years) share Shabbat morning engaged in playful song, dance and age-appropriate prayer and torah study. The program is free and open to members and non-members. Shorashim ("Roots")

Shorashim is a monthly Sunday morning program for children 0-5 and their parents. The one-hour program each month brings to life a different Jewish holiday or theme with age-appropriate cooking projects, arts & crafts, stories, songs and other activities. Parents enjoy time bonding with their children in a Jewish setting and meeting other parents with young children.

Shorashim is free and open to BAS members and non-members. No reservations are necessary. Please join us in the fall!

Next year's calendar of Shorashim dates will be posted in August.
